Success can come from many places. Sometimes it’s entirely coincidence. Sometimes it’s just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Sometimes it’s a matter of who you know. This type of success is like winning the lottery. It can happen, but don’t count on it.

Success should be deliberate. The best way to have surety in success is through hard work. The type of work I’m talking about is work that is focused on the goal. Work with the goal in mind. Devote yourself to your goal. Devoting yourself to your goal is the only way to fully realize what it takes to reach the goal. It keeps you focused and driven. Holding a strong devotion to God, your family, and your goals, will help you grow into the kind of person that you can truly call successful.
